Michelle Langfield, LCSW

Michelle Langfield is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12+ years of psychotherapy experience. Michelle graduated from the Univeristy of Maryland, College Park with a BA in Psychology in 2005 and then graduated with an MSW from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2007. She received her Certification in Bowen Family Systems theory from Rutgers University in 2015. Over the course of Michelle’s professional career she has worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults with issues ranging from ADHD, Generalized Anxiety, Major Depression, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia implementing CBT and DBT based concepts. Michelle is experienced with individual, family, and group psychotherapy from various outpatient treatment settings as well as her most recent position as an IOP clinician. Michelle has also been supervising MSW students since 2013 and received her Certificate in Clinical Supervision from Rutgers University in 2017. Michelle’s approach to treatment is genuine, direct, humorous, and compassionate. Michelle is passionate about her work in the field and the outcomes of her patients, especially during this public health crisis when so many are under duress. She looks forward to serving you at Hamilton Behavioral.
