In March of 2018, Governor Murphy made significant changes to the NJ Medicinal marijuana program. These changes including adding 5 new specific debilitating conditions to the existing disease states. They also now have 6 distribution sites or dispensaries. The cost to register for the program was reduced to 100$ with an additional discount given to qualified seniors.

And allowing any doctor who is in good standing w/the state board to qualify a patient.

Currently, the methodology of being incorporated into the program involves 5 steps

Seeing that you have a qualifying condition
Having your physician certify your condition. The physician and the client must have a “bonafide” relationship
Providing information such as a driver’s license or other proof of ID and the $100 application charge.
Your name added to the NJ Department of health THC registry
Once you have the card you may obtain the THC from one of 6 dispensaries.
